BBN, Mike Adams, and Free Speech
An excellent video, and my opinion on why free speech is so important
I wrote the following initially as a response to the video above. Mike Adams does important work, and his support for free speech and decentralization cannot be emphasized enough. I listen to his BBN show nearly every day, and appreciate the provoking commentary, even if I find myself disagreeing with some of it.
It's important to understand what dictators and corrupt regimes are trying to accomplish, and the best source is from what they say themselves. It is also important to understand that dictatorships and totalitarian regimes do not represent the hopes and wishes of ordinary people. The Chinese people are just like you and I... they want to prosper and live free. Same with Russians. Much the same with secular Iranians. Same with Jews. Same with most Muslims.
Regarding China: Others have also said this, but the CCP has world domination in it's sights. Consider or look up Project 141 and China Standards 2035…
By making China’s technical standards the international standard-bearer, China would no longer need to rely on foreign technology.
Furthermore, it would allow Chinese companies to gain economic advantages, as once firms in other countries are pressured to conform to the global standard developed by the Chinese, they can “sell their products more broadly or earn royalties from licensing their standards-compliant patents to manufacturers that develop devices under that standard and other downstream companies,” according to a newly published U.S. congressional report on China’s dominance in the IoT industry. The report had warned of the risks for security vulnerabilities to be exploited by Chinese entities.
The CCP is our enemy, not the Chinese people, many of whom are enslaved and severely abused. Unfortunately, defending ourselves for our future progeny will involve warfare, if only (hopefully) economic warfare, which China has been actively engaged in with us for decades.
Regarding Iran: Iranians are not Arabs, but they are primarily Muslims. Does Islam desire a global caliphate? Many say yes, many say no. I submit that Muslims establishing compounds (towns) in America that are ONLY subject to Sharia law are on the rise, and there are stories of Muslims attacking and murdering Christians in other parts of the world almost daily.
Regarding Israel: There will never be agreement or consensus on this, as both sides have compelling arguments. There is also the argument that the Israel of today is not the same as Israel from the Bible. Okay. How far back in history do we go to determine whether Israel has a right to exist? What's the cutoff? Now, when did the term Palestinian become a thing? Some say right after WW1. Before that the word and meaning was not even in the consciousness of Arabs. Not until 14 May 1948, when Israel was established, and 15 May 1948 when the rest of the Arab world attacked them, did the term "Palestinians" even become a movement.
The attacks of 07 October 2023 truly ignited the modern crisis that has divided so many Americans. It was horrific, and enraging. Hamas instigated this, and Israel has responded and continues to respond. How much is too much? I guess I wonder how we, as Americans would feel if a savage Muslim (or Chinese, or dare I say Russian, although I think we should be making every effort to be allies with Putin and Russia) attack on Monroe, Louisiana, or Macon, Georgia, where women and children were summarily raped, burned and then executed, would respond. Personally I would make every effort to find and destroy the very essence of the attackers, leaving them all dead. Make it so brutal and devastating that it becomes something they whisper about for the next 10,000 years. If they are such cowards that they have to hide behind children, then what?
War is hell. That is why you make it so very excruciatingly painful that no one wants to engage in it.
So, in conclusion, Israel (Netanyahu) lies. Hamas lies. China lies. Russia lies. The United States lies. Everybody lies. Do we give in to the lies, in hopes of peace? Humans are barbarians, and we have been for a million years. How do we overcome that, without prostrating ourselves to those who seek ultimate power?
I don't know.
I do know this... it is important to expose the CCP, and Iran, and Hamas, and Israel, and the imperial federal government of the United States when they lie. Expose them when they terrorize their citizens. Expose them when they poison them with chimeric diseases, then poison them again with toxic "vaccines". Many of Mike’s BBN videos are one-sided when it comes to Israel, and China, and Iran, and Yemen, and that is sometimes frustrating, although it’s critical to pay attention to other points of view. I do think he is much more objective with regard to our own government, and that is truly appreciated. We need to pay attention to what is happening in our own country, but we must be proactive when the actions of other countries affect and endanger us.
I have followed Mike Adams for years. I accept about two thirds of what he says concerning foreign policy, one quarter if what he says about US military and 90% if what he says that has science as a basis.
Mike us a committed Christian, a dedicated and stalwart citizen whose voice is important even though we may not agree with all of his conclusions.
I do agree with him that Moslems are a real threat to our freedom.
